    Thank you for the kind thought. Importantly, I wanted to mention that there will be a second edition out this fall. It's a rather substantial upgrade. That being said, should anyone have questions, feel free to visit the forum at that site and I will be happy to answer free of charge.

    It is important that any credit attempt outside of the school walls be coordinated with the student's guidance counselor. Just like many colleges, a lot of schools won't (can't) transfer in courses unless they are from a school that is regionally accredited.

    Along those same lines, where I live there are high school students who take courses at local community colleges. Because of the coordination that is set up between the high school and the cc, the student gets full high school credit while earning college credits. Ir seems like a good system for some.

    Around where I work, there is a high school that is actually inside part of a community college campus. The students' schedules mix both CC and HS classes, many of them graduate with an AA on the same day they get their high school diploma... it's a terrific idea that drives me crazy when I wonder why this wasn't available to me. (FYI, the students in the school aren't a select set of high-achievers, they are pretty much an average bunch, heterogeneous as far as study ethic and intelligence. It is further proof of the redundancy of at least your first undergraduate year of college.)
