Rich called me an asshole unprovoked and nothing happened to him.

Steve Levicoff called me a bitch and nothing happened to him. Actually, Steve viciously attacked people unprovoked for like 20 years and nothing happened to him.

Chris made whole threads attacking me unprovoked when I had been ignoring him for months and nothing happened to him.

Garp made a lewd comment about my vagina and nothing happened to him. Garp has made sexual comments toward me twice while debating; I haven't seen him do that with a man.

Steve Foerster claimed that he had knowledge of a topic because of someone he's dating. When I pointed to the fact that he isn't the only person who has dated someone from Africa, he claimed that my knowledge came from swiping left and right on a dating app, which was projection. I have a degree in global security studies; he does not. I also don't know why he thinks he's the only person from the U.S. who has traveled. Then, when I said that his love of foreign women was not empirical research, he played the victim. Don't start something you can't finish. I only gave him a dose of his own medicine.

The one active female moderator we had hasn't posted in years, and you guys chased off most of the female members. I had to become aggressive with my language to counter aggressive sexism. That's the only thing that shuts you guys up.

Over the years, so many women at Degreeforum.net have said that they refuse to come over here. The other forum has a bunch of people on the far right, but at least when a person went on a sexist rant about women having smaller brains, the mod cracked down. This forum isn't majority far right, but it has a lot of sexists, which is why only one or two women regularly post here. In comparison, Degreeforum.net has many active female members.

I'm only saying this because you males have told me to look at the opinions of several members here. Well, then you should look at the fact that many male and female members on the other forum refuse to come here at all and that you have almost no active female members left. Taking that into consideration, your opinions on my vitriol (self-defense) don't really matter because this is an echo chamber. You've chased off everyone who would disagree with you.

I cannot categorically deny this, but I don't think so. It's not a word I use (at least in print). I did a search on myself and found one use of it, but it was in quoting someone else. And I don't do things "unprovoked." In fact, I often don't respond to provocation in kind. This is an example.

Good luck in your quest, whatever it is.

Yours was a disgusting and irrelevant comment.

    "You guys...."

I'm not sure there is much of a collective here. I've only met two other forum members in more than two decades here, and one of those was a mentor of mine long before the development of the World Wide Web. The other I've had lunch with twice in 20 years.

    Say "hi" to the windmills.

He brought up his irrelevant love life and made a comment about mine first. There goes that sexist bias again.

My mistake. You said, "You're a dick." That might actually be worse than asshole. In response to your childish name-calling, I called you an asshole. Anyway, good thing I quoted it before you edited your comment.

Let me try to get this image function to work.

I found this completely baffling, because I know I did no such thing. So I went back to that thread, and... wow.

By "partner", I was referring to my business partner, not a romantic partner.

You spiraled out of control and have been spewing vitriol for two days now because you made an incorrect assumption.

As for the rest, if there are any other comments you'd like to report as violating the terms of service, you're as welcome as anyone else to report them.

With that said, I don't see any reason to keep open your various "airing of grievances" threads.
