Or even against GOP candidates who are neither, like in Virginia's statewide races. And no, that's not an endorsement of them, but simply a statement of reality.

Yes, Virginia Republicans did very well campaigning on educational issues.

Didn't I just correct you? Here in the real world, I do agree there should be a decent publicly provided schooling option for all kids. I have in this very forum said that I had a decent public education and that some (not all) of my own kids did as well.

As for "the likes of you", I'm not sure whether you're so out of touch that you think everyone to the right of Bernie Sanders and the Squad are indistinguishably "far right", or you're just trolling, but either way you're being both purposefully insulting and inadvertently ridiculous.

He's certainly not the liability that the Republicans claim/wish he is. Seems there are plenty of blind spots to go around!

Presentable members of the PCT still prop up the very same Party of Crooks and Thieves. It's like the fact that the Communist Party of the Soviet Union had my father-in-law, an honest construction regulator manager, and my grandfather, an ag scientist (and a decorated WWII combat veteran) doesn't make it less of a murderous political entity. Except CPSU didn't rely on rank-and-file members to prop it up as much as Crooks and Thieves USA is propped up by candidates and voters.

"Very well" electorally? Yes. Did they address legitimate concerns with effective solutions, or were concern-trolling using a latest culture was moral panic as loyal Crooks and Thieves usually do? What were the "issues" they raised? How are they making it better?

Call it a political difference of opinion then. To me, reducing a vital public element of the nation's fabric to a "decent option" is a valid right-wing goal and a good waypoint on a road to "drown it in a bathtub". Along with the rest of public sector (you know, these aspects of American life that actually somewhat respond to voters) and the last shreds of common experience for most Americans, other than devotion to the Flag and the troops. Also, a way to bamboozle a segment of otherwise reasonable people (like you) into a "not all Republicans" stance.

Also, dude, I'm a Hillary fan almost to the point of PUMAism. I despise Bernie Sanders (while agreeing with 80% of his actual policy positions), along with a good chunk of noisy people to the LEFT of the Squad.

    That seems best.

    Cool story, needs more dragons.

That's exactly what I was thinking the other day when I voted for Spanberger.

You really need to learn the difference between understanding something and endorsing it.

Then maybe you can demonstrate the understanding by explaining it. What were the issues in public education Youngkin ran so effectively on? Did he identify real problems and propose real solutions, which he now implements? Or, alternatively, he skillfully exploited AstroTurfed scares - you know, as a typical member of the Party of Crooks and Thieves USA would? It does not seem he has a lot of success finding enough qualified teachers...

Is this a lone effort to associate the Republican Party with a new title (repeatedly) on the internet or are you part of a larger effort and you're the appointee for this board?

    Is it working?

"Party of Crooks and Thieves" (Pe-Zhe-Ve in russian) is a very recognizable nickname for russia's ruling "United russia" party (coined by Alexei Navalny, who is pretty much the only opposition figure of any renown there). Since the gOP and PZhV both rely on right-populist messaging and both prefer to win by cheating, I believe the new title for the former Republican party fits very well. Try to convince me otherwise.
