I am finishing a B.S. Liberal studies at excelsior with an area of focus in insurance.
I would like to know if liberal studies is written on the diploma or if it just says Bachelor of science.
Does anybody have a picture of the diploma!
    Thank you much!!!:)

Some while ago, a person wanted to see an Excelsior diploma and a person ran one through a scanner and posted it, if you search through the forum you may find it.... that is..... if the search feature is back to it's old self!

So far I have seen two and if memory serves correctly, it says "Bachelor of Science". Some people beat up on them while others think they look good...I for one think they are a typical diploma...kinda anti-climatic after all the work involved but a wall hanger to be proud of!

    up with diplomas!!!!!!!!!!

    You can say that again!!!!!

I just got mine in the mail from COSC, and I agree with you, I was really excited when I got my award letter from them last year, but the actual diploma is really very very nice and I will proudly display it, but anticlimatic describes the event really really well.

Just in case anyone wants to know the COSC sheepskin reads,

    "Batchelor of Science"

Congratulations to all and may you enjoy all of God's blessings on your journey!

What was your concentration at COSC? Within the next month or so, I will be transferring over to COSC. I would like to pursue the degree in liberal studies. However, From what I understand, I must also choose a concentration? Can a concentration be work related, or can I concentrate in Spanish? In other words, I guess I am confused as to how to chose a concentration. To be honest, I am only interested in receiving a Bachelors as quickly as possible, I don't even care what it is in. It would not really help me in my profession, I am merely doing it for self fulfillment.

I would be transferring in about 100 credits of Community College(A.A.), and about 18 units/credits of University level courses. Plus I have passed the upper level Spanish CLEP test, And the DANTES intro to business.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Abner

Do the diplomas now still mention the "Member of the University of the State of New York". Guess not; too bad, it sounded nice.

Excelsior is still a member of the University of the State of New York.

It seems that The University of the State of New York includes every college and university in the state, public and private.
