Wow! What an experience. Thanks to everyone here and reading up on people's views on DL, I was able to choose a DL school to earn a masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. The first semester is wrapping up with just one exam left. Compared to B&M schools (went to two for my BA and BSN degrees) this was exactly what I was hoping for... flexibility with study time, assignments, and far more interesting than sitting in a classroom as an instructor rambled off powerpoints. I feel that my education this semester was excellent and extremely challenging. There's no way any B&M program could be any more difficult. This summer I have no classes as there were none available to me but it certainly allows me to work more hours to earn next semester's tuition. Just wanted to post my thoughts as I'm more of a lurker than poster at times and maybe encourage others looking at DL to pursue their goals.
