I understood every single thing you said. I didn´t think your Spanish was fractured. You used the tenses properly (which is themost difficult part), and I thought you were a Spanish speaker. That´s why I wrote to you in Spanish (specially after hearing governor Richardson´s perfect use of the language). Thank you (and the rest) for desciphering my English.

I am no a researcher but I also think that all scientific journals that matter are written in English. Nevetheless, if you re read the original post, EBS requires its potential students to be proficient in English. I don´t know of a single journal written in Spanish (at least in the field of engineering). Here in Holland, where I have much more contact with the daily life, everyone writes about his/her job in English, and probably it is the same around the EU (including the French).

I have a friend who is starting to pursue a Doctorate in Education in South America and she saids they require the domain of two foreign languages, one of them necessarily being French.

Maybe English is not the most valuable language to all fields, or maybe her program is just weird
