My wife is working on her masters in early childhood education. I haven't really seen any schools hiring for online faculty for this subject. Can anyone tell me if teaching online would be a possibility for her. Thanks
The University of Phoenix hires online ECE faculty every once in awhile, you need to check their site regularly as the openings change every 2-3 weeks or so; https://ecampus.phoenix.edu/content/LeadInterestForm/default.aspx?orga=31
Lots of community colleges offer courses in ECE and more and more CCs are offering online programs. Most of those, unfortunately are not advertised anywhere. My suggestion would be to start looking at CC websites and if you find on that offers online ECE classes, send an inquiry letter along with a CV. Good luck -- it's tough finding online teaching positions in any education area without a doctorate. (except maybe technology which is how I got started teaching grad courses without a doctorate 5 years ago)
I am in the same boat, my M.S is in Family and Child studies, and I am having a very hard time finding a position.
