Does anyone know where I can find more info about earning a Linguistics degree via distance learning? All relateded info welcome.
taking the lazy way, huh?? welcome to the forum... You might try checking out some of the links to this site, or going to do a search on past threads, as I am sure that it has been discussed before (though I don't remember any recently) But just to be neighborly, here is a link for you http://www.unisa.ac.za/dept/lng/index.html For more info and opinion on this university, just do a search for "UNISA" here at degreeinfo clint
You haven't said if you're looking for an undergraduate or a graduate degree but here's the list from BG14: Edith Cowan U. (M) Macquarie U. (M) Monash U. (M) U of Luton (M-D) U of Melbourne (M-D) U of New England (B-M-D) U of Pretoria (M) UNISA (B-M-D) Apparently there are also degree programs in Applied Linguistics. These can be found at: U of Kent at Canterbury (M-D) U of Leicester (M) U of Southern Queensland (M) Some of the schools offer degrees in both. Good luck, Jack
Here is the URL for the University of Ney England (Australia) Masters in Applied Lingustics: http://www.une.edu.au/arts/LCL/disciplines/linguistics/appl_ling.htm Good Luck----Jim
