Director of accreditation for ACBSP is a PhD student at Northcentral U

    The director of accreditation for ACBSP is a PhD student at Northcentral U. He has offered to answer questions from fellow students about ACBSP.

    Personally I would like to see NCU go ACBSP if it doesn't alter the format or increase the costs too much.

    Thanks for the news, Carlos. It would be a great step if NCU applied for ACBSP. Other schools might also follow.

    I'm just wondering if there are any AACSB staff that are also online doctoral students themselves.

    He said that NCU is talking about ACBSP accreditation.

    He also believes it is doable.

    I'm in favor of all business programs going for professional accreditation - be it ACBSP or AACSB. The steps a school takes to achieve this accreditation are, in my experience, almost all good ones. The oversight by professional accreditors is a real plus for a school.
