    Interesting factoid for you.

    The California Professions and Occupations Code governing lawyers and law schools has a provision that FORBIDS the California State Bar from requiring ABA accreditation for law schools. ABA accreditation may be deemed CalBar accreditation but non ABA schools must ALSO be eligible for CalBar accreditation.

    (California is one of a minority of states, and the federal government too, where the legislature governs the legal profession instead of the Supreme Court)
