This is good to know! especiall for someone switching to an academic career.

I'm curious about Argosy's recruiting techniques. My experience with them wasn't as bad as with UoP. In fact, they do require the GRE for most of their programs. No GMAT required for the MBA though.

The GMAT is mainly for american and canadian universities. It is not a standard practice for australian universities. Neither
GPAs or letter of recommendation. So if one was to judge USQ because of this, then most of the australian universities would be in the same boat.

BTW, I don't think that the young and ambitiuos undegraduate student would aim for neither of them. Most of them are looking for top MBA schools, the USQ or U o P is mainly an option for the established professional that is only looking for a check mark in his or her resume.

A PhD from a reputable university would take 5 year to finish, this can be prohibitive for most of the married, established professionals. However, you have to make up the lack of a reputable degree by having tons of experience.

Sulla - you are correct for the MBA program. But this thread is about DBA/PhD programs. There NSU does require the GMAT or GRE.
