Grandes Ecoles are public and private institutes of higher education recognised by the State. They confer degrees for 5 years of undergraduate studies, and some award the title of Master. Much of the training is provided in English. (Link: https://www.campusfrance.org/en/institutes-higher-education-France)

The question is: What's the value of the DBA in consideration of the fact that they are apparently not authorized to issue a doctorate. Is the DBA a third cycle doctorate or something else?

Their website states: "The school, which is recognized for its achievements in the fields of digital technology, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, is launching the first DBA program in iA and Business offered by an engineering school in the world*."

"*Executive Certificate not accredited by CTI"

There is nothing suspicious about the French school. It appears to be a fine institution of the Grande école type. It's the standing of the offered program that deserves more scrutiny. What does the DBA truly represent in their case? A standard European doctoral degree at the third-cycle level, some kind of executive certificate, a degree without state recognition in France? I would not consider this to be a a serious option without resolving this matter and becoming satisfied with the actual standing of the program within France.

On the website, the degree is said to be "a unique degree designed by JUNIA, which delivers the prestigious state-recognized engineering degree." But this DBA program does not appear to be that state-recognized degree. There is also a reference to it as an Executive Certificate, so the standing isn't clear.

It is a a degree without state recognition in France, just like every French DBA.

The "Agence française pour la promotion de l’enseignement supérieur, l’accueil et la mobilité internationale", a French government organisation, operates a website (https://www.campusfrance.org/) about the French higher education system. On that site, there is of course also some information about the French doctorate: https://www.campusfrance.org/en/FAQ-Doctorate-France-questions

This is a quote from that page:
So what is a French DBA? - It is a "diplôme d'établissement" (see: https://fr-m-wikipedia-org.translate.goog/wiki/Diplôme_d'établissement?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp), that's basically the French version of the Spanish título propio.
