Cutting edge EV technology from the late 1970s, that is. I don't think I can do this...vehicle...justice but they they built and sold some 4,000 of them. A surprising number survives to this day. Naturally, in the Age of Social Media, the car has a cult following. Run a YouTube search. It's worth it.
Back when I was a young working engineer (with no engineering degree) in the early 1980s, my boss had a car like that. His was red with black seats. He bought it as a mail order kit and put it together in his garage over the course of about a month. There was room for one passenger. He used to take us joyriding individually around the parking lot. Kinda like riding in an enclosed golf cart.
