OKAY. So ... I'm consuming a little late night news feed. Just wow!. I see Tucker Carlson making the same 'bio weapons' allegations as Communist China and Sputnick News. I say to myself - This is all probably about the Counter Threat Reduction (CTR) program, a directorate of my old agency, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). And sure enough. DTRA's Webpage has a very interesting and informative video. The video explains these are not bio weapons land.Thes are not U.S. facilities. The U.S. CTR program engaged world-wide to assist host countries reduce threats and make the world safer. Perhaps Sputnick News and theCHICOMS are only doing what they do, making and spreading lies. I am disappointed with Tucker Carlson. The indignation is the point. Outrage means attention, attention means ratings, ratings mean ad revenue. You seem to be expecting journalism from someone who has no incentive to produce any.
Actually, it was a moment of oh! the irony. Having recently just asked -Why the hate? It really was a surprise to open the Sputnick Website only to see him parroting CHICOM and Russian lies.
Do you know if he gets called out in specific incidents? I sent a note to Fox News. I asked that he and his producers exercise due diligence, and not just parrot the CHICOMS, Iranians, and Russians. I will share any response if received.
He does get called out. But anyone who does so is often labeled a lying Democrat (or similar), even the ones who generally lean Republican. The people who blindly adore Tucker don't WANT to hear the truth.
