I didn't realize that law enforcement and been taken away. I must have missed that on the news or is this a QAnon conspiracy that I missed?
Ha! I got distracted and it was too late to edit. I meant to say that if you lose significant ability to enforce the law (i.e. officer recruitment problems, excessive officer retirement, defunding police, etc.), then the lawless have free rein.
Go visit some of the cities and if you get out unhurt you will understand. When you call Police for help and they come hours late because of all the ones that quit, you will understand. And liberal policies when they release criminals, etc.
The "hours late" thing has been happening for years, possibly even decades. It's not new. It happens under both Democrat and Republican leaders.
Did anyone really not anticipate an uptick in crime, after over a year plus of world wide social-economic decimation?
Crime statistics paint an alarming picture. Murders skyrocketed in many major U.S. cities. It was expected after the economic hardships of the pandemic but it is also increasing because criminals noticed less protection, mayors allowed rioters to burn businesses during the protests, Seattle, Portland, LA, NY and many other cities allowed people to riot without any consequences. Police was demonized and calls to de fund police were common. Our cities ( democrats and Republicans, Independents and all others) its our cities. Hope the new bill that current president will pass will help to restore order and reduce homicides etc.
