Jim, LOL! This is a bit like when you're having a conversation with someone but they keep getting your name wrong...which has nothing to do with the conversation, and you want to point it out...but it seems really rude and disruptive to do so... but you do with a smile, however, after doing so once or twice you just walk away and get another drink.

I'm still confused  because no-one will tell me what the qualifications are that one needs to become a credential creep.

I think you need to carry laminated diplomas around and wear a leisure suite, then start with lines like "hey baby want to see my DBA"

    Jennifer,
I will take your advice and have a couple of drinks and "stumble" away.

    Take care,

I work in the medical industry for a company that makes colonoscopes. We were having a meeting discussing project management and scope creep came up. One person described scope creep as a creepy guy with a colonoscope. Okay, a little twisted but it was funny.

    Arrogance writ large

Or perhaps having given directions to a location to the same person for the umpteenth time because s/he simply is too caught up in his/her own world to actually LISTEN.

A major reason many of these "debates" end up infinitely perpetuated is your "celebrated" attitude of sticking fingers in your ears -- "la, la, la, can't hear you" -- and then just "watching" others' explanations for "entertainment value."

A shame that on a forum ostensibly devoted to education that honest discussions and exploration get regularly hijacked by 'tude.

An interesting experience! After prep, nobody can say you are full of it! My little sojourn resulted in a little surgery and a battery of unpleasant drugs. There were so many examinations I felt that a little like a "drive in theater" for the medical profession.

I might add there no psychs, just physicians and the occasional harried nurse. Just a little on the latter, in our country in remote areas which constitute just about the continent, nurse practitioners seem to cope very well. Doctors don't get that far from the coast as readily. They would have to cut through the umbilical cord that ties them to the coast.

My son, a now a police officer, formerly a nurse in a remote area could suture, x-ray, and do a host of other things. The closer to the coast and development he came, the more incompetent he became as a nurse. Geography alters all apparently. He left because he felt undervalued and, as a true masochist which nurses seem to be, he joined my organization.

    ebbwvale,

Sounds like another "excellent" nurse has gotten away!!

Nursing is a tough career, but a "Thank you" every now and then makes the job, well worth it.

    Take care,

I went to a clinic an Japan and they have a two hour prep. Show up two hours early, take the prep in the "prep room" (couch and several bathrooms) and you are clean in 15 minutes.

Do You Really NEED That Doctorate?

Now why should one even NEED some credential creep to tell him/her whether he/she really NEEDS that doctorate?

    Thanks Randell,
I needed to laugh after getting my "one-way-door" violated, while under the influence of anesthesia.

Good news, no abnormal problems found and no polyps noted!:D

I allowed BSN nursing students to observe the medical procedure. The group gave me a "Thank you" card, when they found out, I was a RN.

I guess, I can say, I'm no VIRGIN now to DegreeInfo!

    Pre-procedure :)D).....During (ouch).......Awakened :)eek:).......jek2839, Do you need a hug?....Post-procedure :)mad:).
