Coursera Plus for $1/month... Expires Sept 21, 2023

This is an interesting offer. But I have questions. I tried to find the "small print" or details but didn't see it. (Perhaps I overlooked it.)

Here's what I want to know...

1. It says "new" users. Does that mean literal FIRST time.... or just those who aren't *currently* enrolled? (I had it a year or two ago)
2. How long is it for a dollar? Is it just the first month or a specific period of time?

 

It's just for the first month. New users are those who aren't currently enrolled, I think, because I was able to get the offer and I formerly had Coursera Plus too.

Lots of great resources there even for civilians. For those who want to get into emergency management the FEMA ICS courses are a very useful starting point.

Also for someone who wants to join the Coast Guard Auxiliary (volunteer non-military organization) they are part of the professional development for many roles.

 

One of the cool, small, perks that come with being a Duke alum was that I get free access to Coursera courses from all universities. Regardless of if the course is from Duke, UMich, Harvard, MIT, etc., I can enroll and complete for free.

I need to take advantage of it because I’ve yet to do anything through it.
