Just completed my high school at Pennfoster and enrolled for their AS in CIS. A little background - I am not a first-time schooler. I did my bachelors in engineering in 1988 (in India). I work as a programmer in the USA. Why I am doing this? - I don't know. May be I want to stay young for a few more years . My daughter enrolled in Pennfoster in 2012 and she was a bit depressed as she was new to online education. To encourage her, I enrolled too. We used to study together, and I used to tutor her. Life took it's turns, and she decided to quit. I stayed off for a while too, but recently, I got my cravings back and completed the remaining credits . Anyway, I enrolled in their AS in CIS program. Why I joined an NA program? I get 15 credits transferred from my high school program, reducing the load to 45 credits I got eyes on WGU BS in CS program, and WGU may take the Pennfoster AS degree Most Pennfoster (but not all) courses in the program are ACE evaluated, so I got an edge there Let's see how it goes.
