If you have a technical master's degree, CSU's online D.Eng will potentially only be 42 credit hours. Admission is competitive, and there's an applied practicum requirement.

Even cooler! Up to thirty credits from a technical master's degree can be applied to either program taking the requirements down from 72 credits to 42 credits. Additionally, if you have graduate-level courses that have not been applied to a degree, those can be transferred in on top of the 30 credits from your master's degree. The PhD has a limit of 10 post-master transfer credits, meaning that a minimum of 32 credits have to be completed with CSU. The D.Eng has a limit if six post-master transfer credits.
