This one was not too bad. Learning all the terminology was the hardest thing. If you are already familiar with legalese from watching courtroom dramas on t.v. or from studying criminal justice, then this one will be a bit easier for you.

I scored a 59 with about two days of intense study. I used the IC flashcards a little, but my main source in this one was the Barron's Business Law book, which is an excellent resource. I only took this one because I needed to take the DSST Business Law II, and I figured that there would be so much overlap I may as well just take this one too, since I was already there. I think taking these two exams close together is a good idea. Good luck!

Study for BL I was a grind. Both the Peterson's tests and the REA book were telling me I would pass but barely.

Just about fell out of my chair when finishing the actual exam-- I got a 74!

Study materials: Law for Business text (good book, but bulky), REA book (pricey, poorly written, and the CD isn't THAT useful) and the Peterson's exams.

Probably more helpful than anything was studying the Peterson's and REA explanations for my incorrect responses on the practice exams.
