    Of course, it's UNC, a huge state powerhouse, but Dr. Ford probably qualified for some kind of alumna award on strength of her scholarly output alone. Then again, she's a tenured full prof at her school and Research Scientist at Stanford School of Medicine - impressive. Not some fuzzy psychology stuff, either - empirical work, hard data, real science. Remind me again: what did Kavanaugh publish? And it's not like his politics prevented him - Gorsuch is a right wing extremist just like Kava, but a real scholar nevertheless. Ethics of euthanasia is a hard problem; clearly I didn't read Justice Dr. Gorsuch book, but the topic does deserve to be debated from traditional religious perspective.
