The Christian Universalist Association offers an unaccredited non-degree education program comprising two sets of correspondence courses. The Christian Universalist Scholar Track lists 8 courses, and the Ministry Track which builds on the first track 7 courses plus local clinical pastoral education or internship for those without prior ministry experience.

Courses are free for self-study ("we’ll give you the assignment list, and turn you loose"). For an $80 per course grading fee, students will receive "academic assistance, the grading of your work, tracking of your progress, and a completion certificate."

They publish a textbook list for the courses. Completion of the two tracks can be part of one of several pathways to ordination with the CUA.

They say they can endorse through a third party affiliation, but they don't say who that is. I wouldn't pay for anything until they provide the name.

This was written earlier this year by the founder of CUA, who is no longer on the board. He's concerned that people who reject some of the fundamental beliefs of Christianity are overtaking the membership. While CUA has always accepted LGBTQ members, the new leadership makes everyone pledge to not discriminate against the LGBTQ community, which automatically disqualifies conservative Christians. He intended CUA to be welcoming of Christians across the spectrum.
