I applied to COSC on April 29th and today, May 17th, was accepted as a student. I have sent an email requesting more information from COSC admissions, but does anyone here know how long it typically takes them to review transcripts and get back to the student with an official evaluation of their previous college credit?
About 3 weeks for mine. they are very thorough and once you get your review back, the counselors are very helpful.
Charter Oak State College You'll like Charter Oak! It took about a month for the registrar to do an evaluation of my prior learning. It's been smooth sailing since then. The staff is great, most of the professors are top rate (they offer over 700 classes through CTDLC) and the advisers are really helpful. I just read today that they will be offering a masters in management starting in 2006. If the prices for the masters are as good as the undergraduate degrees it will be hard to resist.
COSC My official eval took two weeks to the day the transcript was mailed. They had questions about two of my courses, I did the legwork and got everything square with them in 24 hours of my receipt of eval. I've matriculated and am expecting to graduate with my BS by July 31. Best of luck!
