So I'm at it again - life opens new opportunities and as such I am changing directions (yet again).

I am looking at doing a BS in Software Development but am not sure which school has the better programme: Champlain College or WGU.

(cost is not relevant for comparing the two).

    Thoughts?

WGU's program appears to be pretty weak on programming and IT fundamentals. I think they recently changed it because it used to look more like a web development program than a general software development program.

Yeah, and in addition, my CompTIA A+ and Network+ were done in 2005, which is outdated for WGU and I'd have to retake - I'm not interested in doing that since mine don't expire :)

Could someone weigh in on the following two programs:
Champlain College: BS in Software Dev and
UCumberlands: BS in IT with Software Engineering concentration

I am looking at UC essentially because Champlain requires me to take Discrete Math & Calculus I as part of the SD degree. Discrete Math I can handle, however I know that I would struggle severely with Calculus (always was weak in math), hence I am looking at UC (I've been accepted into Champlain already); I know that Champlain's program is definitely more SD-centric which I am looking for, but I am worried about the Calculus... thoughts?
