Can a Degree be recalled after a Professional License is revoked

    BUT.........misconduct occuring after licensure (or subsequent to graduation but before licensure) would not constitute grounds for revocation of a diploma.

    I believe the admonition (above) would only be applicable to those lying (or being less than forthcoming) on their law school applications and/or engaging in some form of misconduct while in pursuit of their degree. Those would probably be the only instances where a diploma could be revoked.

    Bailey, for example, had his ticket yanked in FL and MA but I don't think you'll see BU trying to revoke his diploma.

    This does not pertain to unethical or illegal actions or activity after you graduate. Disbarred lawyers are still JDs but they are no longer attorneys.
