India is pulling out of the de-dollarization plan. I don't even know how BRICS can hold up while India and China have an ongoing cold war. There haven't been direct flights between India and China since 2020.
There hasn't been any reason to take BRICS seriously yet, and there isn't now. It's not a military alliance, or a trade area, or anything else that might have actual use. It's a talking shop named after a Goldman Sachs whitepaper, nothing more.
