Personally I would not waste my time trying to shout down either O'Reilly or Coulter. They are both inconsequential in the scheme of things. Anyone who would be influenced by these crackpots must have an IQ below 100.

O'Reilly and Coulter are merely crap mongers. Enough said.

I find it very ironic and humerous (albeit twistedly) that Coulter, who spreads what I believe to be hate, has her rights to hate violated by "Nazis."

    Wow,

Interesting that anyone would say such things about people who are clearly very intelligent and influential. I find it telling that people can't disagree with out showing their deep intolerance. It just goes to illustrate how far from the main stream the left has moved and how out of touch with reality.

As in "tickling the funny bone?" :D

Actually this is spelled "humerus" and yours should be "humorous."

On a serious note, Coulter is acerbic and vitriolic.

But, 99% of the audience went to hear her speak and had a right to hear her without interruption.

As I said, Coulter is acidulous and this is why I prefer Monica Crawley.

I hardly think a rich lawyer is in the mainstream of anything. Coulter is a bottom feeder whose only message is "liberals are responsible for everything wrong". She has no other message - and importantly enough, much like O'Reilly has no real solutions. It is easy to rant when you have no solutions.

And before you rant that she is a lawyer - so what? I spent part of my time in LE as a Marshal of the Court. I would estimate that a full 80% of the attorneys I interfaced with were ill prepared and of marginal competence. If the average engineer acted like the average engineer, NOTHING would work - bridges would fall down - the Internet would crash.

You've obviously not read any of her books.

Not that I agree with all her solutions to the social ills of our nation, but she does have them.

    M.E.

I never said anything about either being main stream. I said they were not unintelligent and, in fact, many look to them for opinions and leadership. Just because you or I disagree with anyone doesn't justify name calling and character assassination.

As to lawyers, I would assume they mirror the regular population. Probably plenty of mixed up folks and many great individuals. I wouldn't discriminate against them any more than I would any group of individuals.

But Dave - Annie and Billy's entire MoO is to use character assasination and innuedo and false facts in order to justify their positions. Isn't turnabout fair play. And - if you are seeking opinion, why not look for someone with some real knowledge instead of their mere opinion (such as Colin Powell, Condi, Bush Sr - etc - I may disagree with these people but I can be assured they have more insight than a mock journalist like O'Reilly or a Anne)

I don't feel that you can discriminate against a profession. A profession, unlike gender, sexual orientation, or general looks, is a choice - and I choose not to generally respect a profession which lives on the misery of others.

    Well,

O'Reilly is not half bad. Is he egotisitical and over the top at times? Sure but I think he gets it right most of the time and tries to be truthful and accurate unlike Rush, Randy Rhodes, Sam Seder, and Janeane Gerofalo. Coulter I haven't listened to or read enough to have an accurate opinion of. She definately says some outrageous things but considering the idealogues she is talking about they may be totally accurate. Assuming some one is unintelligent or unfit just because of their profession is simply illogical.

I think people loose crediblity when they try to compare people acting like children to Nazi's. People just dont seem to remeber, although people here seems to understand, that the Nazi's were the definition of Bad Guys. I mean, I have seen some heated discussion here, but the idea that you should shoot anyone with a different opinion is beyond the normal thought pattern of most people. By making insance comparisons people dismiss the statement and tend to ignore the speaker. This happens to most extremist.

At on time I watched Bill almost everynight. I think he has really gone off the deep end since the sex scandle, and I think the insecurity he has developed because of it is why he feels as if he needs to say these nutball things...

Left Wing Nazis....I hate left wing Nazis.....

I agree, only the rich lawyer I'm thinking of is Hillary Clinton.

Whoa, careful there, Jimmy. Shouting down their opposition was hardly the most heinous crime committed by Nazis. They sent millions to the ovens to burn. Not a good comparison, not at all. We can presume that serial killers eat and sleep. Does that make all of us who eat and sleep serial killers? It's the p implies q thing, but not the other way around.

The comparison, Tom, represents the early stages of the Nazi movement. First you squelch opposition and then you commit heinous crimes against humanity.

Jimmy, do you believe that these college students are plotting to exterminate conservatives from the U.S. in some sort of mass genocide?

If they aren't, then they aren't nazis, they're just being rude.
