Discussing Bethany on DegreeInfo is no different than doing so in NIFI. If this is good publicity (i.e., promotion of a given school) then perhaps all discussion of non-RA schools should be prohibited.

I first bought a copy of NIFI after seeing it advertised in "Pulpit Helps," back around 92-93. Reading NIFI became a catalyst which initiated my interest in DL. The book introduced me (not personally) to John Bear, and subsequently to the whole DL scene. I think a 2002 version of the book, with all updated data, would be valuable and interesting.

I find it rather humorous that Bethany claims, on its current "creditable [sic] recognition" web page, that it "is listed in the Walston's Guide to Earning Religious Degrees Non-Traditionally (Second Edition)."

Creditable means admirable, good, worthy, praiseworthy, laudable, commendable, honorable, respectable, etc. Why the "sic?" It's not misspelled.
