I have eventually decided to roll with the lawyer's office as a business developer.
1900 euro after taxes, monthly. Not sky high but makes me happy nevertheless. Here in Belgium this is considered good pay for a junior.
I have met the team already. Very open minded and innovative people. That was what pushed me towards this job. The other team was rather archaic and there seemed to be little relationship building between the employees. Something which I value personally. Work should be a place you feel good at, you should feel at ease with your colleagues and be able to build friendships with them. I missed that with the first one but observed that in the second one.
I get a mentor who will guide me through the first few weeks, which is very appeasing for the nerves.
Very kind people, definitely a place where I can see myself stay multiple years on end.
I'm excited for a new chapter in my life.
I still plan to keep studying as much as I can on the side too. I'm just too addicted to Coursera to give up :p

Next goal : having them pay for my CourseraPlus :$

You all are such a great bunch of supporters. When I felt down your words truly read like a warm blanket when I was freezing.
Thank you so much, guys. I love this board ❤️
