Thank you, TwentySeven. That was a well thought out answer. I do appreciate all the time you took to explain things. I have decided against Baker College and am pretty set on TUI. However, I will check into the others you suggested. I haven't decided yet on a concentration, so you were right; I didn't give one. :)

I know what you mean about the wacko variety of teachers. I experienced that at UoP as well. Some were good, some excellent, some bad, some horrible, and some virtually non-existent.

Thanks again for your advice. I will definitely keep your thoughts in mind as I continue to make my final decision.

I think you made a great choice...

I know its easy for some to lump TUI into the "for-profit" bowl of underachieving colleges...but remember, it was just a little over a year ago that they were a non-profit branch campus of Touro College, with much of the staff/management/faculty remaining after the conversion to "for-profit" status.

You must also remember, even though they may be "for-profit," TUI is not a publicly traded for-profit...which in my humble opinion is the major draw back to UoP/Kaplan...

Anyhoo...its a great college...you will enjoy your time...

Get familiar with writing, however, you will do plenty of it...its fun though...but again I am a nerd...
