    Hi, Everyone,

Back in April, 2006, Baker College was embroiled in a scandal that was highly-publicized in the Detroit Free-Press and newspapers throughout Michigan when it was disclosed that the college received the highest number of grants to its students through the Michigan State Tuition Grant Program yet allegedly only graduated 19 percent of its students who received those grants. Baker College also led the state in student loan defaults. This upset some of the state legislators in Michigan. The articles that were carried in the Detroit Free-Press at the time were titled:

    1. "College in a stir: It's first in grants, worst in defaults"

    2. "College gets cash; only 19% graduate"

As far as I find out, Baker College Online lost some enrollment during that time and also did not have work for some of its adjunct faculty for a while because of this publicity.

Does anyone know if Baker College's online enrollment has been able to recuperate and go up again now that we're nine months after this scandal and also if the college was able to put back to work any of the adjuncts that lost work at Baker College during this scandal?
