No, but I did get the response of, "i commented. deal with it." which I think we can all put in our back pocket for later use.

  2. I don't understand your analogy the least bit. I think his situation is totally different. However, I will accept your initial line of reasoning but come to a different result. His situation is closer to a student getting 200k in debt and then going out and at least trying to find a job instead of sitting at home and writing articles about the debt. Him calling his ex-gf a cheater has very little to do with personal responsibility. It has more to do with his personal feelings toward the individual. He believes he has paid his price. He just wants to be move on from it. Personal responsibility doesn't mean you have to spend the rest of your life reliving the situation.

Either way, I agree with AUTiger...pressing charges for pushing someone in a bar (if that's what really happened)...is total BS to begin with.

It strikes me as poisoning the well.

And I'm seeing a big rush to judgment in this thread altogether – against the people on the other ends of the two charges of assault, and perhaps the third charge for threatening, none of whom are here to speak for themselves. "Cheater," "bogus," "pansy," "liberal," "BS."

Let's get back to the original question about an MBA.

Okay, then questions about an MBA without experience aren't really the questions you should be asking. You have business experience, you're looking to move to another sector or function, and the MBA would be tied to that. So most of the talk in the air skeptical of the value of an "MBA without experience" would not apply to you, good news for you.

Everybody has made a few mistakes in their lives. Most people do not get through their entire lives without having a few things they are ashamed of. I know I am ashamed of a few of the things I did when I was younger. Like you said, you are a different person now, people can change and grow. "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone." I don't think anyone could qualify to cast stones at you or anyone else.

It's too bad that criminal records don't take these kinds of things into account. I hope you can get that straightened out. We are pulling for you.
