    Hi all,

I have a quick question, I am thinking of doing the BA (Hons) (Top-up) in Business Management, and I wondered whether or not this qualification could give entry to a Masters?

For example, at the University of Essex, to do the MBA, you must have a minimum of 2:2 UK Honours or equivalent. Now, would this "Top-up" programme be classified as a UK Honours? or not?

Sorry, I am not from the UK, so the system is difficult for me to understand.

    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Pete

If the top-up degree is from a UK University then yes, the grading classification would state which honors you get. eg, average score of 70% for all your modules, (i think?) gets you a First Class hons. etc.

Check with the university you are taking the course from to be sure.

You should also check with Essex if they will accept a top-up degree with hons for their MBA program.
