you might say the same about the USA ( & other countries ), where "affirmative actions" are the rule. By the definition, some people ( classified by racial, ethnic, income etc background ) have to be shuttled to graduation, unless one wants to stir troubles because of alleged "racism", "sexism" etc. The wishful cover is usually that, by shuttling a few (hundred thousands?) underachievers ( classed by race, ethnic, etc ) to graduation, one might "show the path" to others from the same background. This very, very rarely happens & one might just get a "graduation stamp" minority that expects the "leniency" to be neverending. I think one just got what he looked for. I remember such cases at my former university & they were dealt with "politically correct", hence we had a "degree mill " inside the university. I thought about it, when Australia started trying to attract students from its neighboring developing countries. I mean: what's there to wonder? They handle it with the condescending attitude of some "food for *** children " charity event; and the twisted "politically correct", US style agenda.
