Interesting that I was reading this post and Dr. Levicoff makes a statement directed toward me.

Dr. Levicoff is it true that you were a high school drop out? (Sorry couldn't resist). Paybacks are you know what lol.

Well, not to flatter you, I wouldn’t make such a statement today (even in jest). You’ve come a long way, mon cher. But if you quote me on that, I’ll categorically deny it as a vicious rumor.

Absolutely true – as accurately discussed on my Wikipedia biography (which, by the way, I did not write – it was done by a Wiki researcher). I dropped out in 11th grade out of sheer boredom, took the GED at 18, and didn’t seriously start college until I enrolled in TESC at 31.

But I don’t consider your comment a “payback” at all. I let a lot slide in the interest of humor, and am comfortable in my own skin (which is why I never refer to myself as Dr. Levicoff – I still prefer Steve). Despite the old adage, when you’ve truly got it, you don’t have to flaunt it. :naughty:

Hey Steve honestly it's good that we can joke around and I didn't take your statement in bad jest either.

You have worked hard and your story is inspiring in the sense that it is never too late to earn an education. Always good to hear from you.
