    Steve,

    I'm wary of AI and for how it could be used in identifying students and categorizing them by some arbitrary standards.

    That said, I've long been in favor of using computers for rote learning. If a student has a 'mental block' against some topic then an infinitely patient program could present the topic in different ways until it gets through to the student. I believe the student should be anonymous while using that program so that the pressure to perform is lifted for the duration.

    Indeed. Well, the better technology gets, the worse it is for current standards of privacy. I have the feeling future generations will adapt to this by caring less about it, but I suppose we'll see.

    I'm all for this. It will be interesting to see how this impacts the use of adjunct instructors in online programs....
