    Here you go...

    In the reporters own words:

    http://rawstory.com/news/2005/Backstory_Confirming_the_Downing_Street_0614.html

He say's he got copies of the alleged document, then destroyed those after he transcribed them and prepared a copy.

He then presented that as a real document and only confessed when challenged.

BTW, this is a lefty blog quoting an AP wire story. Simple enough for you.....

I am very much in your debt. The article to which you directed me demonstrates beyond any possible doubt the authenticity and accuracy of the memos as claimed AND the web site itself appears to belong to a fundamentalist Christian group. It even points out that the Blair government, though under attack, does not deny the documents' accuracy.

Man your attention to detail has problems

A conservative Christian site? The OP linked to a blog which was a Christian site. The Raw Story belongs to a media group out of Cambridge, Massachusets that is proud that they have been quoted in The Guardian and Hustler Magazine. Not exactly a conservative Christian site. How you derived that is anybody's guess? Doesn't bode well for your powers of observation.

You really should ask yourself, if there is anything that you read that isn't twisted by your bias? It appears you are completely uable to read and digest something with an open mind. Read my posts again. I. No one claims they are true and even with that there is nothing new in them.

Whatever, you believe what you want. I don't know why I let a bunch of do nothings upset me anyway....

Can you people read, can you?

    I said the following:

    1. No one beyond the reporter says they're true either.

    2. I said without a doubt there are some facts in them. However, since what is in them is on record elswhere you cannot disclaim them.

    3. The reporter presented the documents as the real thing and only said they were recreations from since destroyed copies when challenged. He has an integrity problem.

    4. Who cares anyway, since there is nothing new in them.

    5. If it had been a conservative reporter doing the same thing you people would be all over him or her.

All true and verifiable so I do not have to dream. I leave that up to people like you. You people have an agenda and will accept anything to fulfill that belief, period. Get a grip....

    DTechBA,

I was mislead by the link to the "Christ has Returned" site.

I am still grateful to you for sending me there, though.

This is one of those things where time really will tell, I think.
