IT is pretty broad. Any particulars on the jobs? You might weed out some PMs by posting some detail about the type of job and even pay range.

Hi Randell. I've seen a lot of helpful and great posts from you in the past. I was just wondering why it's a state secret about the pay range.

If you are really trying to help others, why not make this post useful? (For example, I've noticed DesElms will sometimes spend a very large part of his time making a post that is so helpful to others.)

So many persons in companies and government offices act like they are "gods", and an interested person cannot even dare ask any question at all.

I'm not saying that you are acting like that; all I'm writing here is that that maybe this post could be more helpful to the many frustrated IT workers either unemployed or underemployed, for example, and in making the post more helpful to others, it could help you and your company also. lol-Are you getting a recruitment bonus? Is that why you are secretive? lol

Look, this is my opinion, and opinion's are like elbows (lol), everyone has two.

Why not help, instead of hinder?

I don't know the exact pay and there are many variables. And ofcourse there is the whole corporate policy thing I need to follow. I am not playing GOD, I am really not sure.

I would say it falls in line with the averages - http://www.mcpmag.com/salarysurveys/

HI Randell. Thanks for the salary link.

I'm sorry if I seemed a bit ill in my post. The GOD reference wasn't to you anyway; I was ill about how things are here at my state university and how snobbish not only some of the professors are, but just staff members too.

Yes, your post is helpful and I'm sure it's certainly appreciated by others.

Thanks for your post Randell and trying to help others get another job.
