I am trying to slug my way through this. It's not easy (of course that is sort of what makes it valuable). Just wondering if any of my fellow DL'ers have worked through it, what you used to study for the exam, how you satisfied the 6 contributions to the profession, etc... http://www.iaem.com/certification/generalinfo/documents/CEMBrochure22July2011.pdf
I never got my CEM credential, but it seems like a good program. I was told that I could get some type of certification from them based on the coursework I've already completed, but I'm focused on getting my HEM certification first and then maybe I'll look into CEM when I'm done.
Which one is HEM? My plan is to take the CHEP then concentrate on the CEM. I do it in my spare time lol.
Healthcare Environmental Manager (HEM) The CEM looks good, but only for those who don't have a degree in the field. My undergrad was EM, so getting a CEM is nice but not needed to pad the old resume. I'm currently managing the EM program for a major hospital, hence the need to obtain the HEM certification.
