I am participating in the MBA program at CSU, previously intrigued by its LifePace model. However, CSU abandoned the old model this April. I feel sad about the new model with reduced flexibility, so I am considering withdrawing. May someone help me and suggest cost-effective MBA programs with similar flexibilities? It would be even better if the proposed one(s) could accept my transfer credits.:D

Although CSU claims they invented a new "LifePace" model for the benefit of students, I would say no to that as the new model is materially alike the traditional class under its veil, it is no longer a self-paced one.

CSU as in Columbia Southern Uni? They received RA status recently, I think they're alright... If you're looking for somewhat of a self-paced program, you should really look at the Hellenic American University (HAU) option for $3K USD. They're RA and the program is well received by several students on this and the sister board... in fact a few members on both boards recommended it to their family and friends because of the price and also the content, quality, teachers, etc...

The LifePace seemed rather unique from what I’ve seen. How self-paced do you want to be? Do you want true competency based? Do you need deadlines? Are you looking for faster or slower?

I’ve been interested in CSU lately. Would love to hear your thoughts - other than the Life Pace change ;)

Eastern's MBA is self-paced in that the content from each course is available on day 1 of the course and you have until the very last day of the 7 weeks to submit everything. You can take 0, 1 or 2 courses each 7 week term.
