    Heya folks -
I'm conducting an independent study project at GWU, which focuses on the Social Security Act and it's impact on federalism/state's rights. I'm hoping to interview at least three PhD/DPA holders (in the fields of history or public policy) to help guide, and add to, my research. Basically I'm trying to gather expert and educated opinions on how the Act affected the growth of the federal government, as well as any potential 10th amendment issues; these conversations will help direct my remaining research, as well as augment the peer-reviewed research material I'll be using. Each interview will probably last about 30-45 minutes and would take place over the phone, unless I could meet you in the DC area (and I would email you the questions before-hand). If any members of this forum, or anyone you might know, would be willing to help, I'd appreciate it!
