West Haven University has apparently had its California approval revoked. It's website has deleted any reference to California approval and the Juris Doctor Program.

Does anyone have any other details? I wonder how bad a school must be to be closed by California. Even Saratoga operated for years with California approval and they had one employee who ran it from his house.

That's interesting. West Haven was a new effort, I believe. Undercapitalized, do you suppose?

D/L law in California is pretty well served by the Big Four, Taft, NWCU, Concord for the well off and Oak Brook for the committed Christian. These schools each produce several successful Bar candidates every year. Why would anyone go elsewhere?

I would love to teach in a D/L or other non ABA setting. Maybe I'll give it a whirl once London is done.
