There are threads on this forum that suggest taking graduate classes for the express purpose of adjuncting in the future, might be unwise. I tend to agree with this. However, if a person were interested in going down this path what subjects are the safest to take classes in? By safe I mean there is a reasonable chance of getting a gig. I know STEM subjects are a little safer compared to humanities and liberal arts. Do you think this could also be true of management as a subject?
Go with subjects that schools have the most trouble finding adjuncts for....finance, accounting, statistics. I'm sure there are a few others.
Yes, all the math and science disciplines are likely the best. I don't think it makes trying to become an adjunct a good idea, but it should improve your chances.
