Absolut Must have books for Business Research

After finally completing and having my dissertation proposal approved I wanted to refer people to the two books which were critical to my success. I purchased others and used them to some limited extent. However, these two were the ones I bent the pages on while developing my proposal. They will continue to be of use as I go through the research process. Others should feel free to add books they feel are critical as well. Try to keep the suggestions to those 1 or 2 books you couldn't do without.

Riley, M. et al. (2000) Researching and Writing Dissertations in Business and Management, Thomson

Davis, G. and Parker, C. (1997) Writing the Doctoral Dissertation, 2nd Ed., Barron's

These books are available from Amazon and or B&N.

 

College was great. I don't remember a thing.
