Business School completes "Triple Crown" Accreditation
    23 Dec 2004

The University of Auckland Business School has recently gained a third international business school accreditation: AACSB International has granted The Business School full five year accreditation to our undergraduate, postgraduate and graduate programmes.

This means that together with EQUIS and AMBA (Association of MBAs) accreditation that we already hold, The University of Auckland Business School has joined the 1% of business schools in the world that hold these three accreditations from the world's premier accrediting agencies.

Together these three accreditations are referred to as "The Triple Crown".

This is a major international acknowledgement of the quality of our research and teaching and our contribution to the business community. It enhances the international standing of our graduates’ qualifications and also our ability to recruit top calibre researchers and teaching staff from around the world.

“This achievement reflects well on The University of Auckland and is good for the entire New Zealand business education sector,” says Professor Barry Spicer, Dean of The University of Auckland Business School.
