A little confused about Dantes Exams

I was on Dantes site looking for testing centers.

It looks like this exam is only for Miltary folks.

Are there testing centers anywhere other than a base?

 

Anyone may take these tests, although locating a testing center seems to have been a little more difficult for some.

If you have a military base nearby, you might try contacting the education office to see if they would allow you to test. You might also inquire at local community colleges.

I asked the director of the testing center at my local state university to apply, they agreed, and I took my first test three weeks later.
