$700 ministry certificates

Credit to Lisarox at Degreeforum.net for finding the Music Fundamentals certificate.

Samford University Ministry Training Institute offers five online certificates for $699 each. Each certificate has four courses. I couldn't get clear answers on the nature of these credits.

These are "non-degree" credits, but that doesn't answer whether these are college credits or non-credit PDE hours. Many schools offer non-degree professional development credits for teachers that are college credits, and they're distinguished from non-credit PDEs.

Don't know if these are graduate-level or undergraduate-level. There was no answer on what the course numbers mean.

Reportedly, nothing under MTI is accredited even though Samford University is accredited.

A few students have been successful in transferring credits from MTI, but most students don't try because that wasn't their reason for attending.

These people completed the in-person courses at MTI and received college credits at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I'm not sure if this article is accurate in its reporting because the in-person courses, I would think, would be undergraduate-level.

Interestingly, some of these locations offer Zoom and Webex classes so you don't have to attend in person, but I don't know if they'll be accepting of students from outside of the region. These courses are only $50 each.
