Hi, My daughter is considering a second BA and received an e-mail from TESC that stated it did not allow a second BA to be in Liberal Studies. This is odd since my husband got that degree two years ago. Has anyone had this experience? Hille

If I recall correctly, your daughter wants to bring up her undergraduate GPA...

I noticed that TESC's requirements for getting a second bachelor's degree became a bit stricter sometime last year. They now want all the credits for the major to be new, which wasn't the case before. I'm surprised that they completely removed a particular concentration from consideration for a second bachelor's degree though.

I graduated with a BA in CS from TESC, and I'm currently working on a BSBA there. At least they didn't have any objection there. Actually, let me amend that. I did have a long argument over the phone with my academic advisor where he was totally adamant that I not work towards a second bachelor's degree. It's not as though he actually had a say in the matter though, so I just laughed at him.
