The Mueller investigation has gotten more indictments and guilty pleas faster than the Watergate investigation. There were more investigations involving Hillary Clinton that lasted longer, and they all resulted in practically nothing. I wonder which of these investigations has been a waste of taxpayer dollars?

Trump was informed about this last week, and the grand jury determined the timing.

Russia is, obviously, not going to extradite any of these people, but the investigation is needed to find out what went wrong and how to protect our elections in the future. We also got some guilty pleas out of Americans.

    The findings:
    • No United States citizens were involved in the Russian-military's hacking of DNC computers.
    • No Americans were aware of the Russian-military's cyber activities (excluding counter-espionage).
    • No American votes were changed by the Russian military.
    • President Donald J. Trump did not collude with Russians.
The DNC collusion fantasy-bubble is popped. :)

As punishment, Robert Mueller issued arrest warrants for the Russian military and has barred them from visiting Disneyland. Mueller will now focus on the Iranian military.

The alleged crimes were perpetrated within American jurisdiction though, so prosecutors are well within their rights to indict. Obviously Putin regime will protect those responsible to the bitter end (just as it'll protect the murderers who shot down MH17, killing 298 innocent people including one American, or spooks who committed WMD attacks in UK). But the point is not to put the hybrid warriors in jail, but rather to protect America. The goal that current POTUS, in this case, does not share. Sad!

PS: Bravo to the Special Prosecutor team. Timing is exceptionally great, so close to the Putin-Trump summit. They'll both ignore it, of course, but optics can't be starker.
