    Guys,

    I stumbled upon this website:

    http://www.cybereducation101.com/Tuition_Rebate/tuition_rebate.html

It looks kinda shady and offers a $101 rebate for new students and a $50 check to those who refer others to TouroU. The site basically rehashes what is already on Touro's own website.
Apparently, the site is run by "Cyber Education Consultants", which claims to be "Authorized agents for Touro University".

Haven't had a chance to verify with Touro but what do you think? Ever heard of this offer? Just seems kinda hoaxish to me.

    4Q out.

I spoke to an admission counselor on Monday, she never mentioned anything about this. My Cyber Educational Consultants are the ones offering the rebate. But why wouldn't anyone go through TUI directly.

TUI has advised me of the following:

"[email protected] is an old TUI account (2000).

No TUI faculty, staff, administrator, or student has this account and our IT Department has already deactivated it.

TUI does not approve of this publication. "

    Thanks

I also contacted Touro regarding this matter today.

"TUI does not sanction and has not approved this
publication. This whole thing is not true."

The above is from a VERY good authority at TUI.
